Default A thought..

I've been toying with the idea of starting a Morgan guitar forum(if I can get David's consent), since my dad is an internet architect and it would be fun. I'm wondering if anyone here might be interested in joining.. I'm just not sure there is enough Morgan owners out there to make it- and keep it active.. If any of you might be interested in it, lemme.. I'm just toying with the thought right now...

Absolutely NOT, Sharon, not if it takes you away from the AGF for any length of time. We already have to compete with all your other endeavors, and we need you here!

Still, if you promise to still put in your required time here, I think it's a great idea. If it doesn't fly, you still would have had a good time, and maybe added to your long list of guitar buddies. Keep us posted if you decide to give it a shot.

Exactly how much time is required here on AGF? ..I didn't know I was needed?

I think I'm going to do it- but I need David's OK first- of course.

Lightbulb A Thought

Sharon,

It's a great idea. Starting a new thing is a good idea. Doing what your passion is is a marvelous idea.

I guess David you mentioned has authority in the company. If he is not the guy, then, he should be able to connect you to the key man. You need to prepare your project well before talking to him. Only the initial idea is not enough. You need to have details to discuss. They may already have a similar idea, but they are not so sure, if it is worth their efforts. You have to show them that your idea is exceptional and beneficial to all parties. Convince them that it will work.

See TGF, for example. Use AGF as a template. Creat a new unique forum, even might not be called forum. Your community will offer new and good stuff for everyone. I believe all members in AGF will assist you in many ways.

Sit down with your dad. I believe he is willing to help you get start. But you will be the one who does all hard works. You need a strong commitment and persistence. The ultimate reward will be your satisfaction.

The best time to start is when we are ready.

Regards,

Don't be silly! What kind of place would this be without TaylorGirl for long stretches of time?

Go ahead with your idea if you can, but if you don't show up here periodically, I suspect there will be some guys to come looking for you.
