All varieties of guitar and bass mostly . I can also get by on the drums, piano keyboard, xylophone, guiro. I'll have a go at anything really.

Guitar and ukulele are my two primaries, but I can hold my own in a jam with chord sheets on piano, mandolin, and electric bass. Drums, too, but I don't think I need chord sheets for that.

Guitar (off & on for a long time) - seriously for about 3 years now. Play regular gigs in a duo with my wife. Been blowin' blues harp for over 20 years (acoustic and amplified). Dabble in slide in open tuning off and on for a pretty good while..

Bit of a weird question for an acoustic guitar forum....
but.....

Orgnaly a drumer.
Acoustic 6 & 12 string guitar since about 1970 to '75.

Mandolin and Dobro with guitar secondly until 1983.

Nothing between 1983 and 1993 due to long serious illness.

6 & 12 string acoustic from 1993 to present.

Dobro, Weissenborn, mandolin, archtop guitar, octave mando/bouzouki (conversion).

And above all - vocals.

Mountain dulcimer, mandolin, five string banjo, acoustic guitar. Related instruments that I also play and have been paid to play include acoustic baritone guitar, mandocello, guitar-banjo, and mandolin-banjo. I've also gigged using a Tacoma Papoose, which is essentially an American steel string version of the Mexican requinto.

Instruments I can get by with in a jam session but wouldn't gig out on include electric bass guitar, acoustic bass guitar, octave mandolin, harmonica and tenor banjo. I have just enough familiarity with those instruments to look like I know what I'm doing, but anyone who actually plays those instruments would spot me as a fraud in a heartbeat.

I've played saxophone for about eight years, but guitar has been taking over a lot of the sax practice time - been playing guitar since January of this year and it's been a blast so far.

Exactly, pleased to know about your interest and journey of guitar learning. acoustic guitar is my favorite.
