Default Sea of Clouds - solo fingerstyle

Another beautiful composition by Masaaki Kishibe.

Quite a challenge (for me) to get it right - the subtleties of timing were driving me nuts

I'm also trying to figure out how to best record my Martin OM-18 GE. I think I need to back out the Zoom even further, which means I might need to do something about the room. My Collings recorded well up close, but I'm finding the Martin to be a bit harsh at that distance.

Anyway,
Hope it's a blessed Advent and thanks for listening.

-Bill

That's a beautiful piece, and you play it nicely. Maybe I need to give it another listen, but you guitar sounds a little out of tune in a couple of places.

As I said on YouTube I enjoyed this a lot Bill.

After hearing you play 'End Of The Summer Sea' I requested the Kishibe CD 'Hana - Acoustic Guitar Anthology' as a present and I think this gem may also be on it. I have not received the CD but I am anticipating that it will be good - might have ago at Summer Sea myself because listening to you play it evoked my own childhood memories and when that happens to me it is a sign of good music.

Great playing

Hey Bill,

Sounds great! I enjoy listening to your posts! Is that a bit of string buzz, or is that the pkup that sounds like that?
