Default Jazz on Classical Guitar

The scene is a jazz dinner club. I'm a teacher and it's a student guitar performance, age 16. I join in at the first and last chorus with a backing guitar line on the left. The theme is a piece originally recorded by Joe Pass and Herb Ellis, though this has some improv in it as well.

Smooth and cool. All the ability I'm looking for in a performance, jazz or otherwise.

I like good jazz guitar period. Doesn't matter whether it's an archtop, 'classical', a Tele or even a steel string flat top....

That's great! Kids are amazing. I have a 15 year old nephew who is getting paid gigs on both jazz and classical guitar. Seem as like a few years ago I was showing him the chords to Dylan songs, and now he sounds like his hero, Pat Metheny!

Excellent! I love to hear all types of music played on a classical guitar.

Pretty much what I'm into. Chord-melody stuff. I'm quite fond of Earl Klugh....
I play fingerstyle and the nylon-string works very well with no worries about nail wear.

Thanks, Bikewer. I know what you mean.

Nails can be a pain.... the young man playing the lead lines in this actually plays without nails.
