This is a 14 year old beautiful Martin D-18GE (Golden Era) 1934 for sale. The D-18GE has the mahogany back and sides along with a red spruce adirondack top and GE forward shifted, scalloped bracing. This sets the tone apart from other 18 series models to be deep, rich, more pronounced/accented, bright and airy, and with absolute clarity.

The rosette is the Old Style 18 Black and White Fiber with a Delmar Tortoise pickguard. Waverly open geared tuners with butterbean knobs,, 1-3/4" nut width, 2-5/16" bridge strings spacing, solid black ebony fingerboard and bridge, long scale 25.4", 14-fret/20 total, aging toner on the polished gloss top, FWI saddle, and a pure mini K & K pickup is installed together with an endpin plug in jack. The action is superb at 3/32" and 5/64" at the 12th. There is plenty of saddle height along with an adjustable truss rod in the neck if you want to make adjustments. No neck reset is needed and there is minimal fret wear. The neck shape is a modified V.

The guitar comes with its original 545 Geib hard shell case with 6 latches and a leather handle, with green parchment interior lining, all in excellent condition with one minor repaired hairline below the bridge B string that is practically invisible (about an inch long) done in 2006 by Gryphon Instruments in Palo Alto, California.
