Default New guitar stand design

At Gerber Guitars, we have a new design for a a guitar stand. I thought I would post a few pics to get some feedback. The pics aren't that great but you get the idea. The light above the headstock is turned on and off by a thumb switch on the top. The guitar hangs beautifully and with the light on, looks really sharp.

This particular one is made with Hickory and Walnut. The next one will be flamed maple.

Forum rules suggest you only discuss prices via PM. Stating it in the thread makes this an advertisement and then, the thread would have to be deleted since advertising requires the OP to be a sponsor.

Thanks...

I'll keep that in mind (: I started this thread only to get feedback, not to discuss sales, which is why there isn't anything about price in my thread.

It's just too cool not for someone to ask the price, thus my comments. My wife teases me that I collect stands more than guitars. If she saw this one, she would probably take away my internet privileges.

Sorry for not getting on the sponsorship program soon enough. I realize now that I really should be a sponsor to make posts like this, which is why I signed up tonight (:

ALRIGHTY!!!!!!
Welcome to the show!

Just remember when you advertise, your sponsorship now lets you work straight in Marketplace. I think you're going to see some good results there.

i'd be concerned that the guitar could swing and bump the stand at the bottom in the back. is there enough clearance, or perhaps should there be something soft, like foam, there?

i like the bridge/bridge pin shadow.

There is a good 5-6 inches of clearance behind the end of the guitar, and more than that below. Someone would have to fall into it for something bad to happen. That said, a pleasant looking pad of some sort isn't a bad idea, just in case.

I like it! Now if you would be so kind as to make it in solid mahogany with ball & claw feet and a nice dark stain I might be able to convince my wife that it's a piece of furniture that we need.

This stand is AWESOME!!!

Hypothetically, claw feet? That would be something.
