They need to correct that picture. I got excited seeing two complete channels on a mini, just like on the Artist. When I zoomed in, I saw that the picture is an Artist. That is very misleading.

I'm thinking they stole dchristo's idea.

Yup, they have a mini picture in the Artist and an Artist picture for the mini, reversed. The Artist is what I have and it still isn't a bad buy with the wood cabinet. But hard to justify selling my Artist for another Artist just because of the wood. Tempting, tho'

I love the wood, I have four Fishman Amps and recently am a featured artist for the Performer via Pacific Guitar sales...BUT too many $$$ to replace 'em all. However the wood is much better then the current thin tolex.
My two Performers I play with as a full-time musician are sonically rugged, but the cab surface material is all peeled up. My back up studio Artist & Mini look fine, but I may sell the Mini and spring for another Artist to match the studio wood floors. (I find the Artist the warmest sounding of the three models, but need the Performers for the larger venues.)

I've seen dchristos amps & he does awesome work! Maybe the blowback complaints of the thin material dchristos amps sparked this!

eric, feeling gas...
