Dave, I'm not at a place I can listen, but will check this out later.

Ironically, I've been listening to a LOT of Tom Waits the last couple weeks. Raindogs is a real classic, especially the the song "Time." Also, "Downtown Train," which I first heard from a pretty good cover by Rod Stewart. I didn't know who had written that song when I first heard it, but as soon as I heard the reference to "those Brooklyn girls" I knew it had to be Springsteen or Waits. And LOVE the killer line, that those Brooklyn girls are "thorns without the rose." Terrific writer. Hasn't toured in almost ten years. Wish he would again, since I've never seen him live. But he's up in Napa with Kathleen counting his grapes.
