Default Irish tenor banjo?

Anyone here play one? I got a good deal on a Gold Tone IT 250 and it just arrived today. I purchased a book with CD to learn on, but I was wondering who else here plays one and if you have any good websites to recommend?

Todd

I play a 20's Slingerland 17 fret. Gerry O'Connor's material in books and DVD are good. Play mandolin as well so a lot of tunes transfer between since tuning is the same.

I profess to be an "Irish gentleman" who, like a "Scottish gentleman" with pipes, has a banjo but rarely plays it (and never in company)! I have one of the early turn-of-the-last-century Weymann tenors (with the removable resonator) and once or twice a year I'll haul it out, tune it, play a few tunes, realize that I'm most definitely not a banjo player, and put it away again. Sad, but true...

Got an open-back '20s Weymann tenor set up in GDAE Irish tuning - play it just well enough to get kicked out of any self-respecting pub on St. Pat's Day...
