Unknown acoustic pickup
I have a Gibson 12 string guitar that my Uncle left me when he passed away. It had a pickup in it that I have never seen, or been able to find. I am wondering if anyone has seen anything like this. Unfortunately I don't have a pic. All I could do is try to draw something similar. It was held in place by one screw that went through the bridge and soundboard. Had a short post and larger round piece that was the actual pickup. It was about 1 to 1 1/4 of an inch in diameter. About 1 inch thick. Don't remember where the wires came out at. Any info would be very much appreciated. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk |

Could be some sort of old Barcus Berry pickup. I'm not an expert, but here's a modern one.

Wanted to give a bit more information about this pickup. The stem coming down from the bridge appeared to be 1/4 in diameter metal, the pickup itself was also metal about 1 1/4 inch in diameter and 1 inch tall. The stem came out of the top of it. Had no markings.
