Here she is, fret(less) board is drying right now. Headstock is shaped, I'm not sure how I feel about the design, but it was the first that came to mind. Definitely won't keep it if I ever do this again.
I still need to get a set of tuners, and probably a new nut (the original was a hollow, injection moulded bit of plastic, can you say tone killer?) But everything else is ready so this should be done next weekend! Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk |

Complete! I'm still getting the hang of playing this, landing dead on is harder than I thought, hopefully this will teach me good practice!
This is just me messing around, most pieces don't work on this, so I'll have to write something cool for it. Strung up with extra lights, tuned half a step flat, for safety, but the headstock appears to be holding. Turned out very cool! Me likey..... particularly your "frets".
This one might be a good candidate for bottleneck slide tunes. Your playing reminded me of slide technique. |

Thanks! I might start learning some of those old timey slide tunes.
I liked the neck with some mineral oil and it really brought out the figuring in the maple, what should I build with the rest of this wood? (There's not much left) Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk |
