Five years ago, the world was thrown into a state of shock on 11 March 2011, when a 9.03 magnitude earthquake hit Japan and triggered a tsunami. As reconstruction of the external damage fired up, the nation came together in mutual support and unity. Composer Yuudai Hatanaka creates an introspective piece that delves into these moods of the Japanese people, as they go through a process of healing and recovery.

Formerly a solo piece on the guitar, this orchestral arrangement aims to widen the expression of Michinoku. The copious use of tremolos is a technique that is very characteristic of Japanese Niibori pieces. This piece strikes a nostalgic chord with the Japanese audience as they reflect on their losses and seek to form a closure.
