stupid deal 6-22-16 Mexican HH jazzmaster
$350
I'd pick it up myself, but it's too close to my HH mexican jag to get played much. For the purists, this one has the original bridge design. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupi...&CJPID=5696037

It is still available. Has anyone played or owned one?

Yeah, but there are lots of alternatives in the $500 zone. At $350 it was a no-brainer.
I haven't played this one, but I do own a Mexican Jaguar HH. The only complaint I have about it is the weight. Really heavy. But the wood parts are clean, nicely finished, the frets are level and didn't need any smoothing on the ends. One or two screws that hold on the guard and metal control plates are not as straight as you would expect on a Made in America guitar, but you have to look to see that. The neck attachment screws are perfect. I've never regretted owning it.

If it had the locking tailpiece I'd consider it - never owned a J.M. or Jag...
