Need a service?
I think i need to get my taylor 110ec serviced? idk if its the neck or the nutt or saddle, but the strings on the guitar are super hard to push down since they are a decent gap between the frets. Ive heard a thickness of a quarter is ideal, Id say the only spot mine is that thin is at the very very top LOL. Any recommendations on who to send it to or what not? Id rather not do it my self as i dont want to F it up lol.

What do you mean by "at the very top" ?
IMO, a quarter is an archaic old measure and way too high. Take it to an authorized Taylor service tech. Here, let me google that for you

If you were to indicate whereabouts on the planet you are located, somebody might even be able to make a specific recommendation. You couldn't do it yourself ... the neck joint requires shims which are only supplied to Taylor authorized techs. |

I prefer to inform my clients about proper guitar setup.
Fret plane (levelness), truss adjustment, nut slot depth, and saddle height are the things to check for. There is lots of information on the net about this. Here's an article I wrote (not quite fully complete, but has some good info for you). Frank Ford and Charles Tauber also have some good info if memory serves correctly. http://www.handcraftedguitars.ca/201...guitars-setup/
