Default Favorite Breakfast Treat??

I've been on a "healthier living" path lately, trying to stay away from the bad foods especially processed anything while going to the gym twice a week. I cut my salt intake significantly as well.
For exercise, I do some cardio-vascular, nautilus and a little free weights.
I also include "planks" for my core.
Combined with healthier eating, I dropped my weight from 184 to 178 in about three weeks, lost an 1-1/2" around my waist and I feel a lot better.
Not wishing to punish myself too severely, I found an old favorite for breakfast that fits right into the game plan and tastes dang good...
Whole Grain toast with All-Natural Crunchy Peanut Butter, a little honey and thinly sliced bananas. Yum!

Sounds great.

I've been on a poached egg with a slice of tomato on an English muffin kick. Maybe a piece of basil if I have some in the house.

Thanks. That will be logged-in to my memory banks for future consumption.

I've only had one in the past 6 months or so but an Egg McMuffin hits the spot.

Congrats Rokdog. I've tried to do something similar, but my sweet tooth is my undoing. I have been swimming hour-long sessions 3-4 times per week, however....

We got into blending and I have a combo fruit and vegg'y smoothy every morning, and often some of my wifes home made bread and bit of raw honey

Usually my breakfast is porridge, or meusli, but for the last few weeks I've been on a medically supplied "fortified" drink - 3-4 times daily, and will be for another 4 weeks or so (I was told today).

I am fantasising about eggs, sausage beans toast and bacon .... Urgh!

Ah, the good old full English. I'm back stateside now after quite a few years in England, and that's one of the things I did like about living there.

Bacon, egg, and cheese rolled in a soft flour tortilla, i.e. breakfast taco. The only thing that makes it better is if you have mimosas to go with them.

MacDonald's steak egg and cheese bagel. Toaster Stroud else. Real donuts (not Dunkin Donuts). Bacon, sausage, pancakes, and home fries, and that's it. And breakfast buritos with egg cheese, salsa, beans, jalapeņos, and sour cream. And that's it. And onion bagels with veggie cream cheese, and cocoa puffs, and Captain Crunch, and Entenmens Raspberry Danish, and chocolate croissants, and that is it.

This isn't very healthy by any measure, but McDonald's sausage, egg & cheese McMuffin is a quick tasty breakfast.

I'm doing high fat/low carb and lifting weights primarily.

Breakfast?

Usually a low-carb protein bar.

Or pork chops.

Or pork rinds.

Or eggs.
