Default Gibson Acoustic Orange Label...Cream...

Well it looks like the end of the orange label inside of the Gibson acoustics.
The cream label replaced the orange label except for the True Vintage and VP
models. I really like that ol' orange label I guess cause I've seen them for years and years. Here's one on my 07' J50:

Thanks MT , I like it too. Was glad to hear that the Gibson Tech and the salesman were loving it too. Thanks for the radio show compliment, the phones ringing off the hook. Columbia house records is offering me a sweet deal ! LOL.. Miss Rita recorded it for us , so let me know when you want a listen.

35' Sunburst...yes, 2008 Modern Classic j45 The "crooked " teardrop was driving me nuts , plus with this new Terrapin guard my new git looks like my 68 J-45.

It really looks good...I like the larger guards on the J45's and J50's
Where did you get the guard?

I kind of like the new white labels, however, I don't at all like how the standard J-45 now comes with chrome tuners, instead of the old white buttons. That just doesn't seem right.

I'm totally with you about the tuners especially with a large guard like my J50.
Since I took that picture I put period correct late fifties nickel 3-on-a-plate with off white buttons on her that look like this:

and it looks right and the new Klusons are much better than the ol' Chicago made ones.

Much better. Mine are white. The off-white looks great.
