Default Goodall Standard/w LR Baggs Element Pickup

I just love the Element Pickup in my Goodall. Played at church recently, and could not believe how it sounded. No effects, no EQ, just straight from my guitar into the sound board. Such a natural sound. I like the simplicity. I also like the fact I don't need an external preamp, EQ, Chorus pedal, etc. Just plug in and play!

Glad to hear you're happy! Was this an after-market installation, or did the guitar come with it?

Baggs products are always a good bet. The Element was a good choice in your case, the I-beam can be a little boomy on larger bodied instruments....

I, too, am very happy with my Element system in my Rainsong. Probably explains why I only use about 25% Aura / 75% pickup in my blend. It really is a great pickup by itself, the Aura just gives it that little extra 3-d sound. I will say that it does sound more natural with about a 6-9 db cut in the 1khz range. Might try that with yours and see what you think...

I had this installed after I purchased the guitar.
