Default 2 Santa Cruz Dreads (D and D12)

Hi folks, I'm putting up a couple amazing guitars from my collection. Looking to sell both of these as I have my eye set on something "BIG"...for me anyways.

Santa Cruz D - Sitka/Cocobolo
This Minty beauty is not only rare but very silky and elegant. I love cocobolo but when you get a peekaboo from the sapwood it raises things to an entirely different level IMHO. This one is clear, bright yet warm, and extremely light. It was made custom for an overseas player. It was so unique I paid to ship it from Australia. The specs are standard for a modern SCGC - D. It has the satin finish on the neck. The nitro on the top and body are thin and as near perfect as the day it left the factory. Nut width is 1 11/16" and a nice round barrel shape which is a tiny bit meatier than the early models from the 90's.
Asking $Sold shipped/paypal included in the CONUS. TKL Hardcase in excellent condition.

Santa Cruz D12 - Mahogany / Sitka
This is also a very special custom guitar. I have a handful of build pictures from the factory. The sitka top is a very elegant and unique bear claw. It's warm tone is from the superb tonewood set of honduran mahogany. Check out the flamed maple binding and heal plate. Condition is slightly less than Mint. There are a coupe very minor finish marks (too small to capture). Also a minimal ding on the top of the headstock (see the picture) I mention full disclosure on the condition of my guitars because I have a very critical eye and expect you will too. Besides those marks mentioned the guitar is flawless. It comes with a nice original ameritage case. Nut width is 1-11/16". It has a strap button professionally installed on the heal. It has never been gigged to my knowledge and the condition would show that. It is a 9 out of 10 for condition.
Asking $Pending shipped and paypal included in the CONUS.

Thanks for looking - JR

I'm not a 12 fret guy, but with a 1 11/16th nut, bear claw, and the big sound of these 12 fret dreads, wow! (not to minimize the beautiful D too!) Darn kids!

Did I forget to mention the extremely light weight on the Cocobolo? Normally those guys are a tank. It must be that snazzy bit of Sapwood🤓

Really hard to beat a D12 in my opinion. My favorite. This one sure looks special. More comfortable than a full size dread, but still has the dread tone. Good luck with the sale JR.

That D12 is awesome!! Obviously a custom build w/ the top, binding and nut width being different from standard. Have you obtained a full build sheet from SC on this one? I'd like to know what else, if anything, is non-spec.

I don't have a spec sheet on it. I try not to bother Caroline at SCGC anymore than I have to. I don't believe there are any additional changes, i.e. bracing patterns, saddle width, scale, ect.

Serial is D6398 if you want to investigate.
