Makes no sense..
Ibanez has an all hog solid wood parlor for $500 and the nut width is only 43mm. I mean come on, really? They can't bump that model up to 45mm?
I guess the guitar gods are looking out for me as there's too much hog in my house now anyway. Ok, I'm done ranting, but here's the link: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guita...coustic-guitar

Could you get away with someone cutting a new nut with slightly wider spacing?

I'm told that nut width works quite well for the children who build the guitars.

News Bulletin:
Contrary to the prevailing AGF zeitgeist, not everyone is a fan of 1-3/4"+ necks... Would've made a nice addition to my hog farm (Martin D-15S/J12-15, Taylor Spring '14 Limited 320e Baritone, Guild B4E-AMB A/E bass, Gibson SG Faded bass), solid headastock killed it for me... |
