Thanks hovishead, I agree! Between the wood and scale differences, they each have their own thing going. The J-45 was a dream guitar for me, because I grew up playing my grandfathers old Southern Jumbo. I was just the sound I was looking for.
But the D-28 has also always been a dream guitar, since I first picked up one in a guitar store years ago. They each sound great in their own ways.
