Private Messages - a Query

I get lots of PMs on this forum, many folks agreeing with comments I've made (especially on current affairs) many ask me privately for advice (very flattering), and many giving me support and encouragement about my current cancer issues. (very much appreciated).

I have just, once again, received an e-mail from the forum saying that, my PM file is 100% full.

I'm a hoarder, and there are some mails that I'd like to keep, but because of this maximum of 20 PMs I have to delete loads of stuff.

Is there any way around this, something I've missed?

Take a screen shot of each one and save it to your document file, then delete it.

You can copy and paste them and file 'em somewhere else, maybe in your email

forward those PMs to your own email account.

and maybe swap email addresses with some?

You can also download the lot to your computer. Go to your inbox. In the blue bar near the top, click the box next to the total of your Messages (100 for you) to highlight all. Scroll to the blue bar at the bottom of the list. Pull down the pull-down next to Selected Messages that says Move to folder and select "Download as TEXT." Follow instructions and then verify that it happened by opening the text file. Erase the current lot except a few you love to drool over. Done. More space.

+1. This can also be done with sent messages. The download can be done every set period of time (monthly, etc.) even if the folders are not full, and the downloaded files can be named by date.
