1990 Gibson J30 - $900! - Square shoulder dread - Stripped hummingbird -
Throwing this up for sale because I've had some unexpected expenses come up.
You will not find a better Gibson Acoustic for anywhere close to this price! Up for sale is a 1990 Gibson J30! These were a relatively rare model only made for a few years. Has an excellent sound - very loud and articulate. Gibson designed these to essentially be a stripped down Hummingbird model - notice the same square shoulder design that you see on Hummingbirds of this year. Good shape overall. Some scratches and bumps from wear over the years and a repaired crack on the back, but not abused by any means. Replacement tuners. Mahogany back and sides, spruce top. This MAY be Adirondack spruce, but I'd have to try to get in touch with Gibson to find out for sure. The grain is very wide at a few points and the top is very lively and responsive - reminds me of a few Adirondack-topped guitars that I have. Does include a pickup. Clearing out some extra guitars! Has the heavy duty tan and pink-lined case that comes with it. Any questions just ask! - Josh Asking $900 after any expenses.
