Default OLF gone belly-up?

Just tried to log onto the OLF (Official Luthers Forum) and a page opened which just said "This domain may be for sale"

I know there are several members who frequent both the AGF Build and Repair forum and also the OLF, and wondered if they had heard any news.

I did see yesterday that Lance had posted a message seeking donations to help pay the server bill ... I just wonder if it has all gotten too much for him financially.

Well, something very weird is going on ... I have the site bookmarked and normally click on the bookmarked link ... this is what came up.

So I Googled Official Luthiers Forum, and got the following on Google

I clicked on the Google link, and have done so multiple times, with the same result, so am obviously perplexed as to why this is happening to me and not to everybody else.

Frank, it is a prerequisite of logging in that you should be able to get onto the site in the first place ...

What puzzles me is how Frank and Waddy are able to log on with no problems and everybody else gets blanked ...

murrmac, I get the same thing you do. Interesting.

Just found this on facebook

I'm having some technical issues at the OLF this morning. My credit card on file expired, so I had to call and renew the domain this morning at 8 am. I suspect it will be live by this afternoon. Sorry about the delay...
Ill keep any updated posted here until we're back up!

Lance said that his credit card had expired where he registers the domain name and as such it didn't auto pay. He's in the process of fixing it.

I checked the WHOIS lookup, and it seems he did let registration lapse for a day or so. It'll get resolved. . .

Post from Lance on Facebook today ...

"Update, it seems to be working, not 100% but I can tell the links are relinking. I can't get in using the URL, but I can using the IP http://72.52.253.93/ There are other users on now that ARE getting in using the URL. So its slowly reindexing."

Sounds like DNS is still propagating. They say it can take up to 24 hours but it's usually a lot quicker.
