Default Carolina in My Mind (cover)

Hey guys,

Seen a lot of great covers of this beautiful James Taylor tune on the agf. Wanted to share mine as well.

Fantastic. And your voice has JT tone in spades.

Hard guitarist to cover. I won't even try.

I think you did a beautiful job on this...your voice & guitar tone along with your style of attack truly lend itself nicely to JT's music.

Very enjoyable,

eric

Thanks Sal, Eric, Doug and Bob! I really appreciate it!

I feel like I still gotta practice this one a bit more 'till I really get it down.
I learned this one from JT's own guitar lesson. Just had to slow it down a bunch in the youtube settings to follow what he was doing.

Really well done, I enjoyed that!

As a side note, I love how everyone plays it just a little different. It can be such a complex song and its easy to get wrapped around the axle trying to play it just like the record. The reality is that even James Taylor doesn't play it like the record. I'm going to keep working on it and maybe I'll be able to post my version someday.

Hey, thanks RedJoker! You're completely right, man, some of the best covers are when you make it your own. I'm sure you'd play it great!
