We played like doodie. That by far our worst week with Brady, but we still got the win.

Seems like Atlanta's defense is getting better and their passing game and play calling caught the Seahawks off balance. Their offensive line still has trouble giving the QB much time in the pocket, but Ryan seems to have enough time to hit one of the jillion receivers available.

Green Bay/ Atlanta?

It may be a good thing that's the Pats played poorly. That likely won't happen two weeks in a row.

Hard to believe all the times Brady had so much time with no pressure and then others where the o-line fell apart. Even given the Patriots turnovers and issues I still never thought the game was in doubt.

Looking forward to Packers/Cowboys!

Yes, those Oats didn't play that well and are definitely make a hearty meal for breakfast... just kidding.

I was actually thinking this before the game. That it would actually be good if they didn't play great because they can beat the Texans with a subpar game. Then, it will wake them up for the rest of the playoffs. Tom doesn't usually have many subpar games in the playoffs. He and the whole team will be ready to go next week without doubt.

That's true, but a lot of times when he had all day was when they only rushed 3. They'll figure it out for next time though.

It's insane that Brady's been to 11 conference championship games in, what, 15 years?

That's the first time I've seen Atlanta play this year. It's only one game, but they look like a complete football team. All the others, not so much. Aaron Rodgers is luminescent, but the Packers aren't a complete team, particularly without Jordy Nelson. NE looks well-coached but talent-shy. Pittsburgh is tough and gritty, but erratic in performance.

The Falcons played exceptionally well on both sides of the ball. That 80-yard penalty followed by the safety seemed to totally demoralize the Seahawks, but their much vaunted defense was pretty porous against the Falcons. They have not been nearly as effective since they lost Earl Thomas. And the Seahawks have been hurt all year by in inexperienced offensive front line.

The Falcons deserved to win.

It's crazy for sure, and 6 in a row now. It was nice seeing Vince Wilfork last night. I read today that he's considering retiring now. He did a lot of good things with the community when he was with the Patriots. He seems like such a great stand up guy.

Lol. I edited the post.

Yes, Tom will be all fired up and primed to have a great game. Bill will do the same for the rest of the team.

He shows no signs of ending his career either. Pretty amazing QB.
