Thanks ukejon,

Don't worry sold guitars take precedence over specs!
Yesterday was first day back in the shop and I figured it's hard to mess up anything just taking pictures as opposed to freehand carving the heel on a neck.

I agree, the burst neck was the right choice
I just love how intense that blackwood is!
Spectacular as ever

Thanks! This is coming together nicely. Tomorrow I'll try carving the crazy bridge in Macassar Ebony.

Default Bridge

I'm making a push to get Bacchus strung up this week. I carved the bridge and sculpted it from Macassar Ebony today;

That was a fun little project!

That bridge just exudes quality. Nice work Mark!

Soon comes my favorite part ... the sound clip.

Thanks cigarfan! Couple more steps to go yet.

Here are some pictures of the headstock progress;

I usually use Gotoh 510 mini tuners. On this guitar I went with a slightly larger headstock and, of course, because this is a baritone we are hanging much larger strings so I went with the larger size 510s. I made some African Blackwood custom buttons this morning as well;

Thanks for viewing!
Mark

Thanks ukejon. Making the bridge for this guitar was good practice for the bridge I'll be making for yours when it comes back from the finisher.

Absolutely! Not perceptible to the naked eye but boy do they enhance playing talent.
