Here is a version of And It Stoned Me. I am trying out my new mandolin. I know about five chords, and I use them all in this song I also solo with no apologies. Sooner or later I'll get the hang of it...

AL AZ, life's funny isn't it?

She hates it, you call it a scratch vocal, she did it on a whim, you've lost the tracks, she'll stamp out the remaining electronic record if she runs across it.

Like it or not, she got the whole message across to me. We gotta hear her on something she LIKES!

If I get time to take a stab at this, it will be "Cleaning Windows" or "Ivory Tower".

My wife has more musical talent in her little finger than I have in my entire body. She started singing in church as a young child, sang in school choirs, hung around kids who would sit around and just harmonize. She has perfect relative pitch and natural timing. I, on the other hand, did not take up music until grade nine and have approached it from my scientific brain. I study theory, I practice, I have to count out rhythms (and even then I can never get them right), I have to struggle to memorize pieces. On the other hand my wife can sit at a piano (no lessons) and play melodies to any popular song she has heard. She can also remember wth lyrics to any song she has heard more than a few times. LIFE IS NOT FAIR. On the other hand she seldom sings anymore because she has not had time and she can not bear even the slight pitch issues in her own voice.
