Very nice, Sal. Was this done using the built-in mic or did you plug in an external one?

Very, very nice.
Your Gibson sounds great and you play it beautifully.

Jeremy... I can't remember which, but I alternate between using a Shure MV5 iOS mic, or an Apogee MiC... I like the Apogee better.

I've been wondering whether id be better off using a regular SM58 with a box (focusrite I think?), but this setup is quick and easy. Just the iPad camera and the external mic.

A couple years ago I replaced a MXL 990 condenser mic and PreSonus AudioBox USB interface with just the Apogee MiC 96k and I'm very happy with the change. Faster and easier setup with no noticeable reduction in quality.
