This neck pocket routing jig is fixed to the bridge post studs that are in the body. This way the alignment and distance from fret 12 to the bridge saddle is optimal.



The neck is seated properly.

I did not like the look of the maple head stock face so I put a veneer on. It is not cut from the same wood as the top so it has a little bit more red tones in it. I like the result a lot, it really accentuates the headstock shape.

Don't be alarmed, this is not the spacecraft of aliens that are invading earth, I am gluing the top on the body of the Electro X guitar build 2.

Bent binding (the white wood will not be on the guitar).



Bound mahogany body with flamed pear top, bent top arm bevel.
