Default Electric guitars with wider nut widths?

Hi, iīm looking for some electric guitars with a nut width wider than, say a Telecaster; iīm used to play nylon spanish guitar (52 mm) and each time iīve seldom played the Telecaster i felt a big contrast between both. So i would look for some guitar with a wider nud (the wider, the best), of whatever music style, so to speak... Do you know anyone out there? Any data would be great! Greetings!

I am pretty sure that my Taylor T-5 has a 1 3/4" nut width... this is the original T-5, not the newer, more electric-y T-5z...

The T-5 also has a traditional acoustic guitar saddle and bridge, a fairly flat fretboard; I find it the most like my acoustic guitar of my 3 electric guitars...

For tele type guitars, look at USA made G & L's. Here is a link to their neck chart. I like the Classic Plus C neck. Very nice guitars.

I believe most, if not all, Eastman archtops and thinline electrics have 1-3/4" nut widths.

They make bolt on necks in different nut widths (finished and unfinished) to retrofit Tele and Strat guitars, and with different features which match the original guitars.

At one time I thought about it for my Strat and then realized, I'm just fine with it since I don't play it like a fingerstyle guitar anyway. But it's nice to know they exist if I ever wanted one.

I believe the above is true, and I think they make some nice guitars.

Also the famous Gretsch CA Country Gentleman G6122T-1959 has a 1.75" nut.

Default Wider Nut Electric

Look into Soloway guitars. Jim Soloway has stopped making guitars, but occasionally there are used ones available. He made wonderful guitars for fingerstyle playing with nuts 1 13/16".
At the moment, there's one for sale on The Gear Page. It may be more than you're looking to spend, but it's as good as it gets.
Good luck.

Thanks for the data! I live, indeed unfortunately i would say, in Argentina (thatīs pretty far away from the States...; here the for-sale-guitar market seems truly depressing...); even trying to get an Eastmanīs guitar would turn out to became a significant endeavour (regardless of the price issue)!! Anyway, knowing of wider nud guitar models seems sine qua non...(perhaps i could order a shipping purchase, etc.). Greetings!!
