DRS2 vs D28 vs J45

It is still a good guitar, though. I have been able to play tons of guitars in the last week and the D28s certainly have a nicer neck and resonance. I do think the DRS2 still has the Martin sound, but with less tone and feel.

Anyway, I was able to trade my Guild F-412 for a 2009 J45 locally and I'm very happy with it. It is a very cool guitar with a vintage feel compared to the Martin. And, it sounds great. It is almost twice as loud as the DRS2! It has me now wanting an old D18 and I'm also looking at 50s stuff. There is a nice barely used D28 locally for $2,500 and it was a great guitar, but I am finding I like older, worn in guitars much better.

Good for you. Just since last December I’ve bought my first two Gibsons and I couldn’t be happier. I sure feel like I got two “good” ones but it could be ignorant bliss.
