I play Wyres coated PB, mixed gauges (12, 16, 22, 32, 42, 54). Not quite as long-lived as Elixirs but I love the softer feel and snappier tone vs. most coated strings.

I'm quite taken with the Martin Lifespans, and now used them exclusively, not only on my HD-28 but on all the other steeds in the barn.

I am using John Pearse PB light strings on my old Martin D-35. The guitar has gotten brighter over the years and the JP PB strings mellow the guitar out just right for my tastes.
