Default FS/FT: 2015 Kronbauer Small Body (SMB) Acoustic Guitar

FS/FT: 2015 Kronbauer Small Body (SMB) Acoustic Guitar

Recently picked this one up from Trevor Kronbauer on February 7th, 2015. This guitar is brand new. It has a cedar top with Indian Rosewood back and sides.

Here's the details from Trevor Kronbauer's site:

Dont let the tight waist and small bouts of the Kronbauer SMB foolyou, this little gem has a lot of bark, and a lot of bite. The slender design lends to a comfortable feel and ease of playability that keeps you coming back for more. The SMB sings with exceptionally well balanced tones and a ghostly ambient mid range making it a shop favorite amongst finger style and blues players world wide.

Dimensions:

Upper bout ~ 10 1/4 "
Waist ~ 8 1/4 "
Lower bout ~ 15 "
Body length ~ 19 1/2 "
Fret scale ~ 25 1/2 "
Nut width ~ 1 3/4 "
Bridge pin spacing ~ 2 1/4"

Guitar has 14 frets to the body.

Here's the link to the photos on photo bucket:

Some photos as well:

Asking price is $2250 including Paypal and shipping fees.

This guitar is only 2 days old! Why part with it so soon?

I have a great relationship with Trevor Kronbauer and have bought and sold quite a few of his guitars now. Some times I keep them, some times I sell them and this is one of those times when I'm looking to sell or possibly trade if anything else out there catches my interest. By doing this, I've met some wonderful people both online and in person and have had some good adventures with my wife, and have traded for some really cool guitars that I wouldn't be able to acquire if I wasn't willing to sell a Kronbauer now and then.

And I, for one, appreciated that you are willing to sell them! I'm not sure if either of the two I own originated with you but I can attest to Trevor making one outstanding guitar! Love both my Kronbauers!!

What wood did he use for the binding on this one?

I've had 4 transactions with Peachlander77. Great guy to deal with. Very honest. He is a personal friend of Trevor Kronbauers and has had some of the best of the Kronbauer line. I have a Small Body just like this one but Mahogany instead of Rosewood that I got last Summer. Beautifully built and sounding. I would not hesitate to buy something from Peachlander sight unseen from my experiences.

Have confirmed that this guitar has koa binding.

Appreciate all the interest and kind comments in relation to this posting.

Methos1979 - your 2014 Kronbauer Ziricote TDK was originally a custom build by me that was traded to Ocoustic which was then traded to a different AGF member who then apparently worked out a trade with you. It's really a remarkable guitar and I can't believe how well it turned out. I have some more Ziricote wood and I'm hoping to get another built like yours in the near future.

That's great news! If I can put in my request now I would like a matching 12-fret Ziricote guitar with similar features to the TDK! I agree, that TDK is something special in every way, shape and form. Great job on your custom selections! Funny that it came my way after getting traded three times!

Would you trade your Kronbauer for my Eastman Archtop electric acoustic guitar AR503CE?

Sent a PM. Thoughts on interest in a trade for an electric?
