Default Mike Dawes "Somebody That I Used To Know"

Hey guys, this is a cover of Mike Dawes' arrangement of "Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye. I submitted it for the Lowden Young Guitarist of the Year competition last year and thought I would post it here as well. Enjoy!

Good job and thanks for sharing. Have you also looked over Michael Chapdelaine's arrangement of this tune?

Masterful. Do you find yourself content playing cover songs? I hope when I get that good I still enjoy the challenge.

Thanks for all the kind words guys

rick-slo, I have seen/heard Michael's rendition of it and have toyed with the idea of picking it up but out of the 2, I prefer Mike's version more so I decided to learn that instead. Maybe I shall get around to learning it soon haha

grathan, absolutely! Songs that I learn to cover usually attract me due to something unique that I haven't heard or seen before which is quite often and I might a whole song just for that 1 particular technique. It is quite fun really
