SOLD 2016 Taylor 416CE LTD Cedar/walnut $OLD
I've injured my left wrist and won't be able to play as much going forward, it seems. I've reluctantly decided to sell my beautiful one year old very limited edition 416CE LTD cedar/walnut beauty. Only about 50 were made for the US market and they rarely are resold. It has had little playing time, and aside from 2 very small marks it is mint. Has 21:1 Gotoh 510 tuners, a wood pickguard and armrest too! I've never heard another guitar that has the combination of clarity, sustain, complex overtones and sweetness of this Taylor, and it has distinctive looks to match.
Full details here: https://reverb.com/item/8577822-tayl...6-cedar-walnut Thanks for having a look! PM me here if interested in the best price. Last edited by jonbee; 01-11-2018 at 09:05 AM. |

I may have an easier time playing a short scale instrument after rehab, so I would consider a partial trade (up to ~50% value) for a good small instrument. A Taylor GS mini koa or similar might work for me.

I purchased the same model new last October. Outstanding guitar that has great clarity, response, and evenness. Very resonant on all registers with beautiful tone and works well for strumming or fingerstyle (I play fingerstyle 95% of the time on mine). Good luck with the sale.

Quote:
The metallic overtones that most steel string guitars have are very reduced, leaving very pure, clean tones and overtones. An easier, slightly warmer sound than my standard 416 that is easy to fall in love with. I found it to be a great alternative voice to a good spruce topped guitar. I should mention the neck. I've owned 4 Taylors, and the necks are very similar and justly famous, of course, but the satin finish over hard rock maple neck on this trumps them all. Unquestionably the smoothest, most comfortable I've ever played. Last edited by jonbee; 01-09-2018 at 12:19 AM. |

Nice one!
Sorry to hear of your difficulties! Hope you find an inspiring axe you can spend quality time enjoying!
Taylor has a great history with both Cedar tops and Claro Walnut! BTW, the 16/GS size is slightly LARGER than a dread across the Lower Bout! 16.25" I believe. Feels smaller due to the nice curvy waist. Easier to get your arm over it! Best on this... Cheers Paul
