Keep the guitar, it will only appreciate over time with minimal effort. The, bike, whilst an enviable steed (yes, I'd like one), unless you spend a lot of money looking after it, will only depreciate, and the time will come when it gets ridden less and less.

If you must have the wind in your hair (where that is allowed) buy a cheap bike and ride that. As has already been said, there are very few places where the Aprilla can be ridden at anywhere near its limits, which would waste that fine workmanship.

As somebody who's known several people who have become seriously injured from motorcycle mishaps I say keep the guitar. That's just my 2¢ worth. It really depends upon which activity you find more enjoyable.

This thread ladies and gentlemen is an example of first world problems. P.S. I sold my bikes, kept the guitars, its a lot safer.

I view things like a motorcycles as different sorts of consumables than guitars. You beat on and wear out the motorcycle in such a different way that I don't see it as comparable trades.

The question as I see it is not "should I get a motorcycle", or "what's safer"?
The question is "should I sell a unique guitar for a unique motorcycle".
Personally, I don't view a Tuono Factory as unique in the same way as a hand built guitar. If the guitar works for you, then find another way to obtain the bike. Maybe wait a bit until a deal on a used one comes along.
If you keep the guitar, and acquire the bike, you can always sell one or the other after the fact.

Fortunately I've only driven vs be hit by Peterbilt. I've been hit by car and pickup truck - no guitars involved.

Bottom line, I think this decision is a personal problem for the OP.

Hmmmmm... Let's see...

I have good guitars, and I have no motorcycle. I would like a motorcycle.
Personally it's a no brainer. Forget the apples to oranges argument about safety.
Don't go through life regretting not riding the bike.

(Sidenote: I've been shopping used Dynas myself lately.)
