Default Sunset is an angel weeping.....

holding out a bloody sword.....

Had a great night on the course with Dad tonight. Played really well and we got 18 in at our 2:45 pace. As we were walking down the 18th this was what it looked like behind us...

Then I drove across the old one lane iron bridge that leads to the course and saw this.....a magical end to a wonderful Michigan fall day...

Lovely... here's one from one of my favourite places on the planet - Devil Track Lake, just north of Grand Marais, MN:

How sweet! A day playing the greatest game ever, with your Dad - and end it with a sunset like this...

I don't know if it gets much better!

I'm lucky to watch the sunset into the Pacific and always watch for the "green flash" as that last dot of sun disappears. My wife and I have been saying "Happy Sunset" to each other for about 22 years now. That's why my signature includes the that slogan....

Thanks for the great pics.....and Happy Sunset to you all!
