I would have voted for the Gibson L-0/1 but it was lumped with the 0 shape which is a Martin shape and a different size so I voted for my second favorite shape the 000-14.

Mine are probably 12 Fret Dreadnought either Martin or Gibson style I like them both a bunch. Close runner up is the J-185 16" wide jumbo shape.

I like small Jumbo and 000/OM size about the same, but since we could only choose 1, I chose OM.

I voted 14-fret 00. I love the way they sound, look, play, and feel. I think the L-00 shape is the best looking guitar of all.

That said, if I had to choose an objective "best" body shape I would probably have to go with 000-14/OM for its amazing versatility, tonal balance, and playability.

Voted 00 14 fret, but a 00 12 fret is my true aesthetic sweet spot. I like the Gurian 3 size also ... kinda like the girlfriend who puts on a few extra pounds and looks wonderful anyway.

You might include L-00 Deep Bodies.

But I love them all! Based on what I own though, I do seem to lean towards Jumbo, OM (often referred to jumbos in the 1930s) and L-00.

Super Jumbo! I loves my Epi EJ-200. Of course I'm 6'5" and have long arms so it fits me. I love the depth of tone that the body shape delivers even though the instrument has a laminated top.

My favorite shape is the 12 fret 00. My 0018vs is a great example.

OMs had been my favorite shape since I started playing guitar... until I recently bought a Martin 00 14-fret (CS-00-21). Now I find myself reaching for the 00 a bit more than the OM. It feels ju-ust right on the lap.

I wouldn't want to give up either guitar, but at this moment I have to give the edge to the 00 14 fret.

Hi, I'd definitely call that a Jumbo, as it is obviously a version of the Gibson design.

I admire Dana and his instruments enormously, and I know he calls this model a "Slope D" but as he should know the difference between the design of a Dread and a Jumbo better than most - I'm lost as to why he mis-names some of his models - like the "OMS" - which is a beautiful "000" 12 rfet model and not an OM at all.

I'm sort of a sucker for the slope shoulder, but I do really like a 000 or OM and there is something about a dread, but a jumbo also attracts me and I do have a certain draw towards archtops with F holes. I do dislike, no hate, cutaways on flat tops but I will put up with a cutaway on an archtop. Can I have my own catagory please?

Folks, I know I have omitted Yamahas and Taylors who haven't (AFAIK) used the Gibson or Martin original designs - but I confess I know little of their sizing logic.

May favorite isn't listed (00 12-fret), so I voted for my second favorite, the 14-fret version of same.
