Default PB strings for playing fiddle tunes on archtop?

So if I want to use my carved spruce top to play bluegrass on, would you suggest any particular strings? I've got D'Adarrio exp16 coated on it now, not in love with them.

try the Ds uncoated for starters, but Id say go to a store and buy several different types and hear them for your self, take suggestions from here and go "buy em and try em !" sid

Really like 80/20's on an archtop.

They're painfully bright for the first few hours or hard play, but after that, they mellow out nicely in a way Phosphor never does.

I’d probably start with Martin Darco 80/20s just because Dave Rawlings.
