Default Fishman Rare Earth: Blend vs. Humbucker

Anyone ever owned both of these?
Is the Blend far superior?
I've been wanting one for years. It would go into a 1946 Martin 00-17, replacing the Humbucker that is currently in it.

i used the REB for awhile and would say they
are just ok. Sunrise and lr Baggs m80
i have also used and like better.
i have heard artists with the fishman REB
that sounded real good so my mileage varied.
what do you have in there now? you just said humbucker.
i think iirc the REB is also a humbucker (dual coil)
i think they also make a single coil without the mic.

Right now I'm using the RE Humbucker, and have been for several years.
It sounds good, and I'm happy with fishman products.
But I'm wondering if a mic blend might warm things up and be a truer sound.

(also, never been fond of the baggs cream/white color)

For sure. Actually I'm about to buy one myself, based partly on reviews but especially demos where you can clearly hear the difference between 100% humbucker to 50-50 to 100% mic. Like this for example:

Obviously your environment dictates how much mic you'll be able to blend in.

The Blend for sure. You have much more options and your acoustic will sound like an acoustic rather than an electric, which to my ears is how the humbuckers comes across.

The best amplified sound I have heard over the last few years - in none pro settings - is the Blend.

I have owned both, and my memory of the blend was it was one of the best sounding PUPs I've used. I found the Blend not an easy pickup to install on the fly.

The Takamine Tri-ax2 is a rebranded LR Baggs M80 pickup that is black.
