I just ordered a set of Aluminum bronze both a light set and a medium light set to try. Any other suggestions out their for strings?
Don't know for sure if results will be identical for the CF 660, but so far my OF420B (spruce top, lam. Pau Ferros B&S) seems to love D'Addario Nickel Bronze. I've had them on for about 2.5 weeks, and they are still holding tune and do not sound at all muffled.

Good to hear you found your best way of attaching the neck.

I use the EB alum/bronze, too, and am also curious about what others have tried.

I don’t play mine often, but love having it available in the car or to easily bring with me when traveling. Love the feel, sound, and convenience... I’m pretty lucky

I just put on a set of EB Alum/Bronze last night. I went with the Medium/lights.
Good projection, tames the mids and nice trebles. Very nice tone. I have lowered the saddle a bit . I might want the nut slots a little deeper. Still experimenting. I really am enjoying this guitar. The soundboard transducers are very nice too.
