Default Tips for Mackie FreePlay (Mackie Reach) Owners:

The Play Acoustic solves all the gain staging problems with the Mackie Equipment. Proceed with confidence Jake. BTW, the only drawback to the Mackie Reach, that I have found, is max volume. Wine bars will not be an issue. Rowdy beer bars might be an issue, if you’re used to blasting loud 12” 2-way cabinets. Other than that, it’s my favorite sounding, and favorite digital mixer, compact PA system - especially for the price. The only thing I owned that sounded as good was the Line 6 L2t - it’s capable of getting louder, but doesn’t have the dispersion or 4 channels.

If I had $3,500 to blow on a PA, I’ve mentioned that I would get a Bose L1M2 with B2 bass and T1 mixer. For $500 used, you can’t beat the all in one Mackie Reach, once you solve the gain staging.
