I think that is: 3 very talented guys and one very lucky drummer.

Just kidding... it's a drummer joke. Seems to me that they are even funnier than banjo jokes.

The Beatles changed music... at a time that was ripe for change. They made me want to play guitar. Well, me and every other guy of that generation.

As songwriters, yes.

The fact that the covers are often BETTER than the originals, though . . . . .

Didn't like it, but thanks for sharing.

SongwriterFan,
Are you being serious? Did you forget the laughing smilie?

Now Joe Cocker did some great Beatle tunes. .............Mike

I usually prefer the original of anything, but Bill really nails this one.

The psychedelia really kicks in around the 30 sec. mark.

Probably not a popular opinion around these parts...but I agree.

Does that mean you don't think they were good musicians or that you just didn't like them?

The former, for the most part.

(Let the slaughter begin.)

No slaughter from me. I just don't see how any guitar player can not think that Chet is a good player whether or not you like his music. We are all entitled to our opinions though I and I certainly respect yours...

Are you saying that THIS isn't the BEST cover of a Beatles tune EVER?

He's a GREAT player. Technically. But almost like a player-piano on the guitar.

I've never purchased any of his music and I don't seek it out to listen to it. Would have loved to have seen him play live...but, alas, I'm too young.

And there are a hundred players "better" than Chet, and I don't care for their music or musicianship.
