Yes.

I also have to consider this phrase which I ran across in my searches on mental illness due to threads on this forum (who'd a thunk it? guitar forum sparks mental illness searches...):

"Pathologizing of normal behaviors"

In our drive to pin a name to everything and "understand" everything, have we created "more" mental illnesses by labeling behavior falling in the norms of human range, but perhaps veering away from someone's "ideal" as "mental illness"?

That is the last I'll say in this thread and perhaps we (collectively) should consider starting an entirely new thread discussing the offshoots of what should probably be a simple tribute to a gentle man who brought so much positive into the many, many lives he touched...
