Just picked up a highly specced hardly played beautiful L320C and am blown away by the mojo this guitar has - an amazing instrument.

Fairrrrrr enough! I have to say - of Lowden, Avalon, and McIlroy - my favorite neck is definitely Avalon. Nice, comfy c-shape that I wish I could have on every guitar. Sure this gem was a real pleasure to play.

Time for me to weigh in here! Several kind - and accurate - observations being made about Avalon guitars in this thread, so I feel the need to point out that the best selection of Avalons in North America can be found here at The Fretted Buffalo! Two wonderful Avalon custom builds will be arriving here soon, and I look forward to posting them on this thread first! Meantime, check out our offerings at the link below. Merry Christmas, all!

Yep...best guitar I ever played was an Avalon S32. Probably 2005-2006 and I remember the sound to this day. I've owned several and they are outstanding in every way.....
