Finish problem?

I never noticed this before yesterday. I am 99.999% sure the finish was not like this when I bought it. It has not been in unexpected contact with anything.

What does this look like to you guys? I had to get a reflection of light just right for this to show up.

It's a Cordoba C9 with Cedar top. It has always been properly humidified.

If I were to make a bet, I'd wager on fingernails tapping on the top just behind the bridge

Cedar dents extremely easily, and those are all between the harder dark grain lines, so I'm going to say some kind of pressure damage, but I'm not sure what by. Probably best just to live with it. Those kind of dents can be steamed out, but then you have to refinish.

Are you or someone who has played your guitar a slap, tapper on the guitar top ? As said above, cedar dents very easily.

Those are absolutely, 100% certainly dents from impact - not any finish problem. As stated, cedar is very soft and dents easily.

I do not think its from fingers - fleshy fingertips won't dents it but nails would and nails would leave a different shape, unless someone was wearing fingerpicks or something.

To me, it looks like small impact marks from changing your strings, possibly by a tool or someones hand making contact with maybe a ring on the hand .
