Thank you Scott - my Charmed Life CLT .75 arrived today! I can't wait to try it. Before the weekend is over, I'll have tested it in the studio, on stage and on the couch. Please standby for a full report.

I'll be following this one, Maury. I'm trying to decide between the CLT-.75 and the CLF-.75 for strumming.

Just happen to see this one, Maury. Thanks again for giving us another try and even more so for taking the time to post a pic. It's folks like you who remind me over and over again that AGF is my true internet home. Feel so lucky to have found this community (dare I call it a fellowship?) about three years ago.

happy playing!
scott

I'm really digging my first two Charmed picks ... had actually wanted to try the brown, but since it was temporarily out of stock, Scott graciously offered me to beta test the upcoming thin Black (he will have to tell us what thickness but i think around .7). So though I haven't tried the Brown yet, the Black (which he said is similar in function different material) is the most versatile lighter pick I've ever had. Looks like there are quite a few new models coming soon or recently rolling out and I'm keen to try the other thniner ones. My other one is the 1.2 NT with the grip holes ... also like this one, but until now rarely used picks this heavy so I don't feel qualified to review it:-). But now it's the only thicker one I use.

Anxious to try the new Red, and also have the NF .9 on backorder. For me picks are another incredient in the musical recipe to adjust the taste ... getting some nice dishes with the Charmed picks.

Paul, I'm so glad to see your post, cuz I think I messed up. I sent you an email about a week ago, or meant to, and just went to my gmail and saw I wrote it and NEVER HIT SEND! Argh!

I've got all the browns in stock! Please email me with the PayPal payment date to remind me and I will have that on the road for you TOMORROW.

Sorry you've had to wait so long. Still filling back orders.

thank you!
scott

Maury, I'm in the shop today, sanding away, but I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the extreme generosity of your time and energy in reviewing our products.

Folks, in addition to his review, there are a number of A/V clips playing this model on Maury's site.

Maury, I always encourage everyone to be fair but, if necessary, brutally honest in their reviews of our products. We're far from perfect, and we learn more from the negative reviews, which frankly are almost non-existent, than the positive.

I'll add a video below, if I may, of one of our models being played on an incredible Eastman E-10SS. What wonderful guitars Eastman makes. I'm not sure our picks are deserving. This is a wonderful ballad -- my friend Paul Zollo calls it a "miracle song" -- written by Michael Smith, from Chicago. He came out of Chicago the same time as John Prine and Steve Goodman (writer of "City of New Orleans -- not Arlo!), and was in fact a very close friend of Goodman's and wrote a number of very funny tunes with him.

Finally -- here's the brief hijack sales pitch, folks -- we could easily sell the new brown thinner models for $40.00 and get it, but this is our way of saying thanks to our all our friends at AGF, both Sponsors and members, who have supported us through our very challenging first year. We haven't recouped our initial investment in starting CLP, but we're going to hold to these prices as long as possible, at least till the end of the year. We think other pick makers have made a HUGE mistake by not addressing the below 1.0 mm market, so there you are.

In teardrop we have .60, .75 and .90; in large tris .75 and .90.

End of sales pitch.

Thanks again, Maury; I'm speechless at your generosity.

Maury, would you please make a note to jog my brain after the first of year. I want to buy a Trance Amulet from you, the new one with the easier install, to go in my Eastman.

Thanks again, buddy. Back to the bench!
