Default How I spent an 3/4 + of an hour tonight

Just this one section, with an additional 20 reps of the first two bars because that first pull-off wasn't coming off right (pinky) and I kept playing the last 16th note in the first bar like it was an 8th note which was killing the whole feel. The last two measures were a bit sticky too timing wise for me - the grace note was throwing me off.

I had to put this section into Guitarpro so I could play it in an endless loop for almost an hour. It pays off though.

I am curious: what tune is this that you are working on?

I love Guitar Pro 7 for that kind of stuff. We’re in our RV for a few months while we get the new home built, and only have the iPad. I’m really missing GP7.

Funny you wrote that. I just spent 3/4 of an hour -restarting my learning of this piece. There's one fingering that is really difficult and I went over and over and over it (with only minuscule improvements so far).

This is a custom transcribed version of a really rare edition of this taken off a 25 year old cassette compilation. It's Hark The Herald Angels sing, and this recording is my second all-time favorite acoustic guitar piece. I really want to learn this one and figured I'll do a little bit at a time. I tried it last holiday season but only got about 10% through it before Christmas had come and gone.

So I am sitting outside on the fourth of July playing Christmas music.

I should start re-learning some Christmas tunes too, can't wait to the last minute!
