Default Yamaha LL6

Looking at picking up a two year old LL6, hardly played, w/case for $100.00 this afternoon. I am amazed it is available at this price. It looks brand new.

I dod like the FS-800, though, due to it's size. The reviews for the LL6 (it's not an "ARE") as everyone knows, are fantastic. Stay tuned!

To add...

I'm on the smallish side - smaller hands. Was looking at an FS-800 and love those. Sold my FG-335ii (a bit of cracking where the neck meets the body - still in good shape, but thought I'd cut my losses now). Seems the size is similar w/the LLG to the 335ii, though different shape, and I hear from some the LL6 is smaller than it looks... Anyway, my small hands liked the 335ii, and they love my Seagull. Hoping the LL6 isn't too big for me, but the price is right.

Thoughts? Anyone prefer the FS over the LL's??

I know. It's almost frightening!!

I hear these are excellent for strummers - I'm basically more a strummer these days, but fingerpick, as well. 60/40.

It's amazing how some people find cool deals like this. Though sometimes I also wonder about the background of the low price.

Here she is - not sure you can see this. CDN$100.00 w/case.

Kid never played it. Same strings are on it as were in 2015. Still sounds great! Feels like a good guitar - the neck feels strong...

Gotta love a good deal! Will clean her up and re-string w/Elixir .012's/Light whilst enjoying a cold craft beer! Can't wait!!

The LL is actually slightly wider across the lower bout than an FG. I just measured, and it will only just fit a Hiscox dreadnought case with no wiggle room at all, and is a really tight fit, whereas the FG is a much easier fit. The LL is also about 1/8" deeper at the bottom bout than the FG.

I guess what I was trying to say - or perhaps expecting - was a much bigger, "jumbo" guitar. I'm finding this one is not a physical burden at all. For $100.00, I had to check it out. Glad I did!
