Default FS: 2003 Taylor 810 L1 Brazilian. Price reduced EACH day! Partial trades accepted

2003 Taylor 810 L1 Brazilian beauty. NOS purchased last fall - virtually unplayed.

I found this 2003 Taylor 810 L1 Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, sitka spruce top guitar last November at the Guitar and Banjo Studio in Beaumont, Texas. New old stock. Never been on display and never sold. Paul (the owner) at this store tends to buy up Taylor's LTD and sell them later down the road.

Despite knowing that this guitar would not be used to gig with (I have other Taylors for that) I had them install a L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup just in case I ever decided to bring it out for a special occasion. I never did. The pickup is easily removed if wanted but does come with the sale of the guitar.
Truthfully, this guitar has been in its case for the past 10 months. I have played this guitar for less than 30 minutes. There is ZERO fret wear, ZERO dents/dings, ZERO scratches.

The only issue that exists is an aesthetic one that I will attempt to describe. The finish has some very small "streaks" where the paste filler was absorbed by the wood. I sent it in to Taylor for them to ***** it. As you can see in the write-up from Taylor below, they buffed out the finish and fired off the body to cure the paste filler further. They got rid of most of it, but there are still some areas where it is visible. This is mainly on the sides. They took care of almost all of it on the back. After much discussion, Taylor said that they only way to completely eradicate it was to strip the finish off it and re-do it. However, they said that there would be a risk to the Brazilian wood and it was not worth chancing it. This presents ZERO concerns other than aesthetic. Taylor was simply not willing to take the risk with this wood. So, if you are concerned about the light "streaks" where the filler has been absorbed by the wood, then please don't look to buy it. Although noticeable, it is not an eyesore nor is it glaring.

Other work that Taylor did while they had it in June:

"Leveled and buffed back and sides. Tacked up wires, reset neck, cut nut, installed new tusq saddle, balanced pickup, clean and restring. Fired off body in oven to cure paste filler further."

A copy of Taylor's service invoice will be provided along with the guitar.

Nice full dread sound. Sweet sounding guitar with excellent set-up.

Comes with the OHSC which is in flawless condition.

This Brazilian Rosewood Taylor is nicely priced at $2,900.00 plus shipping (SEE LOWER PRICE BELOW).

Will consider trades netting me $2k. More pics available upon request.

OH man Kinbacat1
Why why... I've been seeking this guitar since I played it at the 2003 summer NAMM show. The 810 L1 was my best pick them , I'd love to have her... just too many in the barn right now. Just picked up a 04 anniversary 614ce last week. This is a crazy nice Taylor , quick stop me before I do something stupid . 1st year forward shift x-brace Just awsome. Somebody here pick this up quick.
I may have to list something else, so tempting. I see a beautiful guitar here dispite what flaws you talk of

Default Price being reduced each day!

I did this on another guitar a while back. Each day I will reduce the price on this Brazilian beauty until it either sells or hits rock bottom pricing, at which point I will probably just keep it instead of selling it cheap.

Today's price: $2,875.00 plus shipping.
